Hello Marvin, thank you very much for trying to help me. Yes, I removed the wire from the ECU.

My car is a Audi 89 8G.... from '94. The car from which I took the parts was also an '94 ABK 4 door Audi (I don't think that I can find the VIN to see details..)

I read already that in '94 was some changes with AC, and I'm thinking that the wiring diagram which I posted on top is different from the wiring harness which I took from the donor car. Here's the big confusion with that "blue/white" wire.

Thank you again, have a nice evening.

Hello Marvin, the issue is the wiring harness, because it was pulled out by me and that wire was going to another point... I didn't know that the red 5 connector is not present in my car, otherwise I would take it from the scraped car. Maybe the wiring diagram is different from the ABK which I took the AC sistem...I really don't know.

Now another problem discovered is the glove box, which is different (the original is too big), I think that the AC glove box is thinner... I trow away all 3 from the car's with AC which passed to my hand.... and now I don't know even how it's look, to search one...

Hello, so I found only one black 3 pin connector with the blue/yellow wire which has continuous circuit with the grey temperature sensore. But that one, I connected with the blue/yellow from the 5 pin red connector. When I dismantle the wiring harness from the donator car, it was like this (the blue/yellow from the 5 pin red connector was common with the blue/yellow which goes to the grey sensor). Unfortunately, I didn't know that the 5 pin red connector wiring harness is so important for the AC wiring. I've cut after the connector, thinking that I have already on my car the second part and it will be plugged into that.

So, the blue/white wire which I need to know where it goes, it still a enigma...

I toked the ECU from the donor car, and the only blue/white wire it goes to pin 41 from ECU, which means "throttle position sensor" which with the ignition ON is getting 5V (I checked and it getting 5V). Initially I connected there the blue/white wire, but when is connected it's putting OFF the relay (no + for the compressor).

Hello, so I looked at the grey sensor and I sow the blue/yellow wire that you told me, is there 😊. I will make a misure to see if is the same with the blue/yellow from the 5 pin red connector, because at some point, from the red connector, the blue yellow wire is split into 2 wire and goes to..... I don't know where...

If is the same, is easy to make a bridge. Thanks ,have a nice weekend.

Thank you for answering. Mine is a 2.0abk, so doesn't need a bigger generator for the electric. I want to know where I have to connect that "BLUE/WHITE" wire. It comes from the compressor relay, pass true the red 5 pin connector and goes to.....? I don't know where....

Maybe someone understands better the diagram and can help.

    Thanks

Hello everyone, my name is Lucian and I live in North Italy. The last autumn I started to install a AC system on my 2.0 ABK '94 Audi 89 cabrio.

To be short, I have one last wire which I cannot understand where is going. On the wiring diagram it goes on the "ELECTRONIC THERMO SWITCH", but I cannot understand what is that. That wore is passing through the 5 pin red connector, and is arrive in the F14/G2 .....sensor/switch/....or what that means.

The AC sistem is working, the air is cold, the compressor is turning off when the pressure is too high... everything seems to be fine.

But I know that I left that wire "BLUE/WHITE" free and this is not normal.

I think that his function is to turn off the compressor when the 2 velocity off the fan is active (too keep the idle off the engine when the power consumption is higher).

    This is only my supposition....

If anyone can help me with the destination of that wiring, it will be great.

    Thanks all for attention.
